Gastroenterology

Internal Medicine
- General Internal Medicine with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. In office ancillaries include Bone Densitometry (DEXA), X-ray, high complexity lab, and other portable ancillary devices.
- Each doctor takes call for their own patients during the day and one doctor is on call at night and over a weekend (1 in 7 rotation)

Orthopedic Surgery
- Skills include general orthopedics, in-office fractures, interest in arthroscopic procedures, reconstruction, sports medicine, and trauma
- General practice call1:3 (alternate by week)
- ER Call is 1:5
- Office is within 1 mile of Hospital
- Hospital has a 3 Teslon MRI, while the office has x-ray and an extremity MRI
- New arthroscopy scopes, cameras, and equipment
- All new spine surgery equipment and instruments, including a new microscope

Urology Surgery
- The hospital OR has a Holmium Laser, Storz urology rigid, semi-rigid and flexible scopes, Storz High Definition Camera Tower, new instruments for the Laparoscopic Nephrectomies, most of the newest up to date disposables used for stone cases, placing stents and many general urological cases.
- Urology procedures performed include Prostate, Bladder, Kidney and Vasectomies, the opportunity exists to expand Urologic services and procedures

Hospitalist
Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking an additional board certified/board eligible internal medicine physician as we grow our Hospitalist team. Work from one hospital and enjoy a block schedule in this well respected program which originated in year 2000.

Intensivist
- Opportunity exists for candidate to practice full time intensive care medicine with Intensivo/Dr Salvador LoBianco.
- Schedule will consist of 7 days on/7 days off.
- Privileges will be maintained at both Alton Memorial Hospital and St Anthony’s Hospital.
- Average work day is 8 hours plus after hours call during 7 days on.
- AMH & SAHC both have 12 bed ICU’s and average approximately 12 patients between the two hospitals (within 5 minutes of each other).
- Both ICU’s are open units and intensivists have consulting privileges only, they do no admissions or discharges.
