Physician Referral Bonus Program

A referral bonus of $2,500.00 will be paid to any Alton Memorial Hospital (AMH) employee or any physician on staff at AMH if a physician is recruited as the result of the employee or physician's referral.

The process for receiving a Physician Referral bonus is as follows:

1. Candidate's name and contact information are given to the Director of Business Development or the Physician Services Manager on the attached form.

2. Referring employee or physician will receive a written confirmation that addresses the following:

1. Whether specialty is one that is currently being recruited
2. Whether candidate has previously been identified through another source. No bonus will be paid for candidates that have been previously sourced through other means.
3. Definitively state whether or not the recruiting bonus is applicable to this candidate

3. No recruiting bonus will be paid without prior written acceptance of the candidate by the Director of Business Development .

4. Candidate referral will expire two years from the date of submission with exception to candidates who are currently in training. Expiration of the referral for candidates still in training will be dependent upon their date of their availability and will be included in the written confirmation letter.

5. The recruiting bonus will be payable upon the candidate's completion of the hospital credentialing process and approval of privileges at AMH.

6. In order to receive the bonus, the referring party, if employed by the hospital, must be employed with AMH and in good standing on the date of the bonus pay out. Physicians making referrals must be on staff at AMH and in good standing on the date of pay out in order to receive the bonus.

7. AMH hospital executives (Directors, Vice Presidents and President), as well as, AMH physician recruiters will not be eligible for the bonus program.
