Building a Foundation for Quality Health Care

The mission of Alton Memorial Hospital is to improve the health of the people and communities we serve. We take our mission very seriously and each day work diligently to provide our patients with top quality care.

As a not-for-profit hospital we look to the community for support in our efforts to stay current with ever-changing medical technology and equipment. We think our patients deserve the best care possible, in a setting close to home. Gifts like yours enable us to provide care for the underserved and seek innovative solutions to complex health problems.

Alton Memorial Health Services Foundation is dedicated to the charitable support of Alton Memorial Hospital. Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation has committed over $14.5 million to hospital renovations, equipment, outreach services and health-enhancement programs.

  • Facility improvements
  • Technological advancements
  • Impacting children through the Community Schools Wellness Program and Mary Alice McCarthy Fund
  • Reaching out to the community in their place of worship with parish nurses
  • Providing education opportunities for nurses and clinical staff
